WR Waiver Wire — FAQ
When should I add a Wide Receiver from waivers?
Add Wide Receivers as soon as you identify the opportunity — most leagues process waivers Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Players spiking in add volume on Monday night are typically responding to injuries, role changes, or breakout performances in the previous game.
How are these WR waiver rankings calculated?
Rankings are based on 24-hour add volume across thousands of Sleeper leagues, updated every Tuesday. A sudden spike in adds is the strongest early signal that the fantasy community has identified a real opportunity.
Should I drop a Wide Receiver to add a waiver pickup?
Only drop a Wide Receiver if the waiver target has a clear path to consistent production — ideally a starting role, good upcoming matchups, and a high target/carry share. Don't drop your RB3 for a one-week fluke.
What is a target share and why does it matter for WR waiver adds?
Target share is the percentage of a team's total pass attempts directed at a receiver. A WR with a rising target share — especially above 20% — is worth rostering even on weak offenses because volume drives floor and ceiling.
