TE Waiver Wire

Tight end is the scarcest position in fantasy. Any TE with a consistent target share in a high-volume passing offense is worth rostering regardless of name recognition.

TE Waiver Wire — FAQ

When should I add a Tight End from waivers?

Add Tight Ends as soon as you identify the opportunity — most leagues process waivers Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Players spiking in add volume on Monday night are typically responding to injuries, role changes, or breakout performances in the previous game.

How are these TE waiver rankings calculated?

Rankings are based on 24-hour add volume across thousands of Sleeper leagues, updated every Tuesday. A sudden spike in adds is the strongest early signal that the fantasy community has identified a real opportunity.

Should I drop a Tight End to add a waiver pickup?

Only drop a Tight End if the waiver target has a clear path to consistent production — ideally a starting role, good upcoming matchups, and a high target/carry share. Don't drop your RB3 for a one-week fluke.

Why is tight end so hard to find on waivers?

Only 5–8 tight ends per season produce true TE1 numbers. The position is heavily reliant on target share within the offense and red-zone usage. When a TE1 emerges mid-season, they're typically unavailable on waivers within 24 hours.
